After a long hot day of moving odds and ends ( cause the floors aren’t done ) AAA and I had Chinese food and fortune cookies, I had a hard cider – he played with his Thomas the Tank after dinner.
Followed by folding clothes and bath time. Good to relax when I’d been so busy with the houses.
Tomorrow the appliances get hooked up.
The floor is still a wreck but maybe by next Thursday all done?!?!?

Eating grapes on my bed with AAA. Then we played – wrestled, pretend falling and face plants into pillows. All without the lip gushing open (see yesterday’s post for details on that)
I got a call from day care and AAA had fallen on a step and bitten into his bottom lip. His 4 front teeth punctured his lip in 4 places. One is very deep and was millimeters away from a lose stitch to close the top but remain open so it would heal properly. Instead it will ooze a day and I’m to be vigilant against infection.
This kid’s gross motor skills and all-boy-get-into-everything are going to keep me busy for the next 16 years.
Of course it meant AAA was not tired at nap time. Life’s full of little trade offs, isn’t it?
Going through my pictures with Adam, for almost 45 minutes, and hex was engaged. I mean, I have 1600+ and most are of him so why wouldn’t he be interested. We had frozen juice pops to beat the heat too.
Dining out with my favorite person. He’s really good in public eateries and we stayed over an hour. There were moments of real conversation too.
