Was right after my most stressful. The doctor told us that it was very close to needing a “lose” stitch … But we could skip that and be careful the next 24 hours.
I got a call from day care and AAA had fallen on a step and bitten into his bottom lip. His 4 front teeth punctured his lip in 4 places. One is very deep and was millimeters away from a lose stitch to close the top but remain open so it would heal properly. Instead it will ooze a day and I’m to be vigilant against infection.
This kid’s gross motor skills and all-boy-get-into-everything are going to keep me busy for the next 16 years.
