Adventures of a Crazy Gay Man

Is kinda different but here goes – it was going into sharp shooter mode when Adam was sick. I was happy because I shifted into action mode when I was called and told he had a 104+ fever. Daycare had no medicine either so as I drove I knew to stop for Tylenol and pediasure. I texted fellow father Erik, researched on the web and swept in to get my son. Once home I did all the right things and feel great. Seriously – I’ve never done this before or taken care of an ill child and I did good. Whew.

Adam was in the tub and just wanted out after 5 minutes. He stood up and just hugged me and held onto me and would NOT let go. I pulled his wet little self out but he wouldn’t let go to get a towel on him. It was so sweet – he just wanted me.

Waking up with Adam at 6 am in my bed. It was cute seeing him sleep and be all clingy after he woke up. Btw – this was an hour and 15 minutes after I woke up to a baby boy screaming in his crib. All I could do was throw him in bed with me and pray for another hour of sleep.

Adam running to get his new bedtime story book, scampering onto to sofa and getting to read The Little Blue Truck to him.
