Adventures of a Crazy Gay Man

I dunno how it happened but Adam and I ended up with spoons and the peanut butter jar – FUN! We just enjoyed ourselves.

Singing and dancing! That heavens you cannot hear or see daddy.

Having a mini conversation with Adam this morning. An honest to goodness conversation that he started, out of the blue, about a boy at daycare. It was while we were driving to daycare too. It’s getting more fun.

Realizing I got it all done this weekend.

You know how you get the tasks done except for folding that last basket or loading the Sunday dinner dishes into the dishwasher? Not me tonight – whew.

Playing outside for 15 whole minutes without drama. We found a praying mantis and that was very entertaining.

My generator came. Left on the front porch but here nonetheless. When you live in the hills ya gotta be ready.

A toss up between seeing my old boss (damn good to see him) and playing ball with AAA on the bed.

Sofa Picnic and a Curious George movie Good times.

I’m exhausted but here goes becuase there were a few:
1) Adam and Zackie watching cartoons while I cooked breakfast
2) a great visit from Daddy Erik and Imogene – sharing toys, looking at the house, eating cheeses, dinosaur puzzle, not sharing the tryke, pretend nap time (and a nice looking guy in the house)
3) putting up the Christmas tree – and, having gone through all the mental gymnastics last year it was easy and no decisions. AAA even remembered the tree
4) applying for ‘hope’ during my coffee time
5) finished shipping for Adam’s Christmas and that includes PJs
6) Emily telling me something like ” if coarse you’re tree is up, you’ve got it together’ – it was very touching since as a single parent I cannot do it all and feel like we are just ‘surviving’ some days.

We were supposed to go to the new dog park that opened 10/12 but new children under 6 years allowed.
