Let’s see – I’m out of practice. My happiest moment today was Adam talking to me about his lunch (that I made) and he was happy with his taquetos.
In general, whenever he really talks to me I’m happy. Sometimes he’s really into his games but when he visits it’s fun to see into his brain.
Yesterday he was at my office – I stopped in to use the bathroom since it was close.
Getting to help Henry back into the workforce. It’s been a while and he’s going forward like a champ.
I actually enjoyed work. I know what to do and enjoy it and felt supported. Haven’t felt that in a while.
Playing hide-n-seek with Adam and Henry was fun too.

I love these things. My valentine from my son. I just noticed how he put little fingernails on it. He’s growing up.
Let’s see . . . Getting the valentines delivered to Adam’s fellow Brown Bears at Preschool. And I remembered one for him too.
Also, at work I’m starting to get my mojo on. Too bad it means really getting tough with a vendor.
I got my valentine card from Adam today.
Oh – and a big fat check from my house in La Crescenta. I’ll miss the house but it will afford better things. Too bad it’s spent on the other house but how lucky am I?
Fixing the crashed wireless home network and extending it, on my own with a little YouTube help.
Sunday night I attempted to extend the network since there are dead spots in the house. The internet and network crashed with adding a single divide. So I arranged for a tech to come out with the earliest available as Wednesday.
Tonight, after making dinner and starting the dishwasher, I tackled it with YouTube and my brain. I was sure I’d be charged a fee for the visit and/or the tech might not set up the network. For almost 3 hours I rebuilt my wireless network.
Now, the entire house feels neglected but I saved money, cancelled the visit, have internet downstairs and into yard, Adam can get a bath later and staying up until 10 pm will not be the end of the world. I felt neglectful and at the same time realize he had no TV last night and all of my time tonight I was absorbed in Zane land. I guess that’s the single parent dilemma – but the sense of accomplishment and conscience is my happiest moment today.
Adam, go watch more GoGo Henry! It’s GoGo Thomas and Henry is a whole other story.
They were both amazing and I’m not choosing.
1) Seeing AAA at the new preschool and he was playing. Not lined up with others and being read too, it playing and enjoying himself.
2) Seeing Henry’s hard work on the basement. The tools and storage tucked away under the stairs and the guest room cleaned a bit more. And the main area is open and clutter free. We talked about it but didn’t expect him to strike out on his own – superb.
