Adam has a classmate who seems to be an unsettled kid. (Biting, kicking, temper).
So Adam says Max likes to shoot people too. I stopped and sat on the floor – “I wanted to tell you about him. Tell him he’s a bully and there are other kids you will play with”. My son looked so relieved and repeated back what he was going to tell him.
Then 5 mins later we are taking out the trash and Adam says “hey, daddy. I like being with you.” I am happy from the inside out.
So happy I took the parenting moment.
