Signing a birthday card from “Adam & Zane”. It’s the first time I’ve signed for us and I could barely write the sentiment when I realized it.

Big Boy

AAA grew again – 34 inches tall! We were playing In the hallway and his cranium was taller than the marks. I thought he’d grown a little but damn- a full inch!

Growth milestone

We can now get in and out of the tub on our own. Yeah for AAA. Yikes for me!

My happiest moment today:

From bath to bedtime. Everything from rubber bath toys that make fart noises, getting licked by Adam (not the dog) and hearing him giggle and eating baby-toes.I needed it after the horrible work day and work week.

Adam proudly bringing me my pajama bottoms. Did I mention I was in the shower and wanted to help? He was so pleased and I was freaking out but managed to praise him for his help.

All evening Adam was affectionate and checking in with me; very sweetly babbling to me and putting his little hand on my shoulder.

And so it begins . . .

AAA got the step stool, picked it up and moved it next to the bathtub and for back inside. Then, he practiced getting in and out on his own. I’m proud and petrified at the same time.
