Nosiness – I was looking at Adam and talked to him very close up and he pulled me in to rub noses; all on his own.

Playing with MY son on the last Saturday of the month and not having to involve his bio-family.

Done it’s official – the adoption is finalized!

Hearing Adam express himself. We have a square wild bird feeder. Many birds are using it! He told the social worker, on his own, it’s a “bird box”. And so it is!! ( pic is him outside this morning about an hour before that comment.)

Learning that the adoption hearing was set for Jan 27th! (also becoming my worst moment – I’ve been calling for weeks and how does this happen that it’s so sudden?). Regardless everything will be finalized.

Peaking into the window at daycare the same moment Adam was peaking out. Instant joy, jumping up and down and giggles – I wonder what my son did?!?

Chillin with Adam from 3 to 4 pm – he just wanted to sofa surf. My least happy moment: the babysitter telling me Adam lost his ball under the table and it sounded like “oh sh!t”. Her suggestion is that dad should say “oh no”. No sh!t he learned it from me. I knew this day would come.
