A series of random and unsolicited kisses. There were these unexpected waves of affection from my son. All this on a day when he was wrangled into a haircut and was very distraught.

My happiest moment today:

Getting my first ever Father’s Day gift as a dad. A framed picture of Adam at daycare, coffee and a mug that says “best dad in the universe” – hell yea! I’m really touched. Then it was no TV night so AAA and I hung out in peace.

I’m trying to decide:
A) Adam asking for a song and saying “GEE” ( for Glee), or
B) Him helping me to up when I pretended to tip over — he tried to lift me up and was so concerned. ( I almost felt guilty since he was so concerned.

Adam teasing me – he has a sense of humor. He would offer me a spoonful Greek yogurt and when I went to eat it he’d quickly put it in his mouth.

A face only his daddy would appreciate!

My happiest moment today:

A new game during our late afternoon walk – “where’s the house numbers?”. Adam looks for them and points them out on the curb and I tell him the numbers and he tries to repeat them. He was good at finding ’2′.
