The electricity is done! Garage is properly wired, new bathroom all set and patio ceiling fans are in. It’s wonderful – my idea is a really good one for the patio.

Was hard to think of since the evening was challenging. BUT . . .
1) earlier in the day we ate breakfast under the new covered patio and where shaded quite nicely
2) watched Bee Movie for the first time
3) went to a new architectural salvage and found the coolest corner sink AND the 4th foot for the tub
4) found a really off beat picture for behind the sofa and its so strange it works; if that makes sense

It has some real bright spots

Hard to summarize but had a 2 hour conversation to clear the air with my 2nd mom. I had no intention if having it this morning but this afternoon I felt compelled to call her. Coincidence (some might say) that she was in town alone and could talk.

We’ve had a standoff on a topic for years around her latest ‘husband’ and while unplanned I began asking about the giant elephant in the room. It had festered and started to poison the entire relationship. Now it can heal.

Here’s what’s odd: I looked at my horoscope a minute ago and this is what it said – freaky!

My happiest moment today:

Coming home at noon to check on the two crews at my house. Electric guys and the handyman guys. The patio is covered and has 3 skylights (tomorrow the electric gets put in for outlets and ceiling fans out there.

The 2nd bath is plastered, skim coated and has electricity. All if my demo skills meant it was ready to build up the way I wanted. The dream if the 2nd bath is coming true – I’ll have a master suite.

The projects had been weighing me down and while I wish I could’ve done them, I needed to throw money at the problem and get it fixed. I’m happy the burden is almost lifted and my ideas are good ones.

Standing in the hall and Adam is over 40 inches tall. He had another growth spurt. When he arrived he was barely 31 inches tall.

My happiest moment today:

I got out the foot lotion and gave AAA a foot message. He melted and asked for more.

I’m always telling him to help, or go here, or stop that, or come here or time to get in the potty. And I’m constantly washing, wiping, lacing, clipping or tugging on parts of him. Well, I thought that was a lot of running for little feet and I’m “task touching” him so we needed a balance.
