This last day cannot come fast enough. I am making the right decision. Who gives marshmallows to toddlers? It’s pure sugar. Ugh.
I’m grateful he has been safe and they have tried their best to teach them things and they are good people. The same time onward and upward.
Final quote on the bathroom plumbing is in and accepted. Let’s get some water in here and get the drains hooked up. In a couple of Saturdays the work begins and finishes.
Adam was very shout to meet Jesse the plumber.
Putting Adam to bed and he says ” no kisses daddy”. I think ok and wonder how he’s getting so big.
Then he says – I want 3 kisses. Then 4 more kisses, then 5 and then 7 and finally 10. In that order – it’s was charming.
Visiting with the neighbors. A transformer is ready to go and our electricity is pulsing for days now. They are the ones who told me – I thought it was all the electric work and my house was the only one.
We visited and their son played with mine. It was nice.
Yep – we are potty trained.
And, he really pulled down his own underwear and closed the door. This is good stuff
Adam wanted mac & cheese on the way home. So we went right to Zeke’s. I’m totally down for this.
I think it was talking to Adam in the car on the way home. But I cannot recall what we said. I do recall it was almost a real conversation. He did day “it was a rough day” which made me laugh.
I’m not deciding because there was some good stuff.
1-sleeping in, again
2- being with Adam – like, having him in the house and helping
3- Thomas sung along in the car was actually fun
4- late lunch at Hamburger Mary’s in WeHo. ( it was fun to be there and it’s vaguely familiar and also odd to have AAA there to. Btw – they have kids meals) And, Adam loved it and slept in the car on the way home.
5- outside under the covered patio in the early evening. He got so dirty too.
6- reading ” I Chose You ” as the bedtime story
Don’t get me wrong that everything is perfect all day. He’s three and I’m a single parent and we have moment and/or spans if frustration. But it was a damn good day.
