I’m not sure but I sure loved seeing Adam and Zacky playing. Of course, Zacky ended up being ridden like a horse and took it all in stride.

I fell asleep but last night before bed my happiest moment was tucking Adam in. It’s turned into a time for conversation and nose to nose interactions. It’s cute and we talked about his new friend and his world.

This week we didn’t eat out so I ordered take out from Zeke’s. But that’s not the brat part. After dinner we danced.

It had been a while since we did that. I kinda forgot about it. It was fun and happy and light.

Feeling sorry for myself

It’s 74° in the house, I have a flannel shirt and Levi’s on and I’m under a blanket on the sofa – still freezing.

What’s the fine line between aggressive cold and the flu? I just don’t know. I had a flu shot but this is bad. I rinsed my hands in warm water because they were blue-greyish.

I was up half the night and now this. It was all I could do to get Adam to preschool so I could get home and sleep more.

Ok – ending the whininess now.

My happiest moment today:

1) Adam ran up to me at preschool and wrapped his arms around me and hugged me. Yes!
2) Coming home to the next wave of projects completed: the bathroom floor grouted bright white, the new outlets are installed and the light switch is working in the 3rd room. Yes!
3) Talking to Samuel for a little bit. Although we have potentially bad news about VRP it was a good talk.

I got some flowers from the sweetest person I know, just because he knew I’ve been having a tough time lately.

This morning it gave me joy to see the little buds open. I put them in the kitchen window and they make me happy.
