My Friday night ritual of dining out and window shopping the little village of Montrose. Bonus: we sang a song from the Sound of Music in the car.

I dunno how it happened but Adam and I ended up with spoons and the peanut butter jar – FUN! We just enjoyed ourselves.

Having a mini conversation with Adam this morning. An honest to goodness conversation that he started, out of the blue, about a boy at daycare. It was while we were driving to daycare too. It’s getting more fun.

Realizing I got it all done this weekend. You know how you get the tasks done except for folding that last basket or loading the Sunday dinner dishes into the dishwasher? Not me tonight – whew.

Playing outside for 15 whole minutes without drama. We found a praying mantis and that was very entertaining.

My generator came. Left on the front porch but here nonetheless. When you live in the hills ya gotta be ready.
