Getting a hug from Adam and I say “Merry Christmas”. I squeeze him tight and unsolicited he says “Merry Christmas, Daddy”. I could tell that he meant it.

All set for Christmas morning.
Christmas 2013 is all done now except the shouting. I only light the star on Christmas Eve since that’s when the new star appeared in the sky.

A mile of Christmas tree lights.
In Altadena Ca it’s been a tradition to drive Christmas tree lane. On his own Adam says “it looks amazing” it makes me happy to know he could verbalize like that.
